Nashville, TN – John Cerasuolo has joined ADS Security, L.P. (ADS) as President and Chief Operating Officer. Cerasuolo previously served as Vice President of AFL Network Services in Franklin, Tennessee, a division of AFL Telecommunications (A Fujikura Company), an international provider of telecommunications products and services. Mahler Mahler, founder of ADS and former President and Chief Executive Officer, will continue to serve as CEO, co-owner and Chairman of the Board.
“It has been my intention to one day shift the focus of my activities to concentrate on strategic planning and acquisitions,” said Mahler. “I have been looking for the right person to assume responsibility for the daily operation and management of ADS Security. John Cerasuolo is that person.”
Mahler added, “This transition places ADS in a very strong position for future growth in its existing markets as well as new markets.” In October 2007, ADS Security established an office in Florida for the first time with an acquisition in Melbourne. ADS Security also has operations in Alabama, Kentucky, Georgia and Tennessee, where its corporate office is located in Nashville.

Cerasuolo has more than 17 years of management experience in the telecommunications industry working with AFL Telecommunications, where he held a variety of positions including Industrial Engineering Manager, Acquisitions Manager, Operations Manager, Business Manager and Marketing Manager. In 2000, he was named Director of AFL Network Services in Franklin; he became General Manager in 2002. In 2005, Cerasuolo was named Vice President of AFL Network Services, the senior executive responsible for a telecommunications network services operation with 35 U.S. locations and employing 1,300 people.
Cerasuolo is a 1983 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy with a BS degree in Political Science and Economics. From 1983 – 1988, he was an officer in the U.S. Navy Nuclear Engineering Program. He received his MBA degree from Clemson University in 1995.
Cerasuolo is a member of the Board of Directors of the Tennessee Center for Policy Research and a member of the International Business Committee of the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce. He is also a U.S. Naval Academy Admissions Blue and Gold Officer. Cerasuolo was Co-Chair of the 2007 Tennessee Military Ball. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of Alcoa Network Services, Inc. and Tele-Tech, Inc. Cerasuolo and his family are residents of Brentwood, Tennessee.
