ADS Security’s Vice President of the Eastern Region, Ben Scott, was named one of Security System News’ (SSN) “20 Under 40” Class of 2017. This group is recognized for being motivated and skilled leaders, and are nominated by their peers and selected by the editors of SSN for their dedication to the security industry and leadership qualities.
Ben joined ADS in 2008 as a Sales Consultant and worked his way up to General Manager of the ADS Security Augusta Branch, before being promoted to Senior Vice President of the Eastern Region in January of 2016.
Ben is a customer-centric, servant leader who truly believes in building employee relationships and developing a culture of integrity. Ben is a selfless leader that loves celebrating the success of the people he has mentored and coached along the way.
“You’ve got to make the workplace exciting and the culture of your business is imperative to this. Also, we need to put them (our employees) in a position to be successful,” said Ben Scott in his interview with SSN.
When he’s not working to propel ADS’ position in the industry, Ben enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife, Dede, and their two children, Taylor and Jordan. If you can’t find him at one of his branches, there is a good chance you’ll catch him at the ballpark watching his children play sports. Ben also enjoys people watching and traveling, taking in the local culture of wherever his travels take him.
Ben is a graduate of the Scarlett Leadership Institute’s Signature Executive Program, focused on Organizational Leadership.
Ben will be recognized for this award at the TecSec Solutions conference in Delray Beach, Florida in February.
