ADS Security Hits $3 Million Mark in Recurring Monthly Revenue

Swift RMR growth tied to disciplined sales engine and strong acquisition pipeline.

ADS Security (ADS), a regional electronic security and automation company headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, has revealed they achieved $3 million in recurring monthly revenue (RMR) earlier this year. After its inception in 1990, ADS achieved $2 million in RMR in 2012 and only four years later the company has reached $3 million in RMR.

The company attributes its swift RMR growth to a combination of a disciplined internal sales engine and a strong acquisition pipeline of security company owners who have chosen to sell their business to ADS. The company just completed its fourth acquisition this year, totaling over 7,000 purchased accounts year-to-date. In 2015, ADS acquired security companies totaling approximately 6,500 accounts.

John Cerasuolo, President and CEO, recently stated, “The year is young. We expect that our expansion will continue with at least two more transactions in the coming months.”

The approximately 90,000 accounts that make up the $3 million in RMR are a mix of residential and commercial with a noted shift towards the commercial side of the business in the most recent years. Patrick Ritter, ADS Senior VP Controller, adds, “With our tremendous growth, I expect us to announce another milestone very soon as we reach $50 million in annual revenue.”
