One of my favorite aspects when it comes to my job is getting to meet customers face-to-face. It doesn’t happen often in my position, but when it does it’s special. I get to read kind words from customers every day, so it's always nice to actually meet the person behind them. Every now and then an opportunity will present itself to my teammate Lauren and I. When it does we take a road trip (near or far) to not only meet one of our customers, but sit down and talk to them.
Our most recent trip was to Birmingham, Alabama, to meet a five-year customer named Leah. It’s only a three hour drive, so it was an easy one. (I drove while Lauren slept the whole way, but that’s beside the point!) Leah was kind enough to invite us into her home where she, her husband and two children live. She couldn’t have been any nicer or more welcoming to us. As always, it was great to see her in person and hear her story.
After discussing with Leah how she became a customer of ADS, she told us a story about an incident that made her a customer for life. Lauren and I were both proud to hear that it wasn’t just the ADS system that protected her and her sweet family, but our employees as well. Visiting with her that day was another great reminder of why we do what we do!
